What kind of water filteration system do you have in your home?
I’m looking to purchase a faucet filter as well as a shower head filter. My brain hurts from reading all these different reviews on different brands and this and that lol So…if you can help me narrow it down to the best. What kind do you have? How happy are you with the product?
What’s important to me is the flow of the water. I know Pur has a great water filtration system but after a while it cracks and the water flow becomes very slow. I appreciate your answers and taking the time out to answer my question. Have an awesome day:)
Oh Btw, has anyone heard of Aquasana? Have you or anyone you know tried it?

Most aggressive pitcher water filter?
I’m looking for a pitcher water filter that will filter out the most contaminants possible. I was looking to purchase an Aquasana countertop filter for my apartment kitchen sink, but the ridiculous faucet/sprayer combo that’s on it won’t take a countertop filter. I don’t want to install an under-sink model, because it’s an apartment and I’m not interested in making that investment for something I move out of.
I’m skeptical of the Brita and PUR pitchers, they don’t seem to do much except improve taste. I’m not worried about taste – my water tastes fine – but our city water tests poorly (high levels of chlorine, higher levels of pharmaceuticals and medicines, high in metals).
Any suggestions? It’s hard to find unbiased review just looking through websites…
